Cherished Creations,
Our second
“A Taste of Cherished Creations”
presented by the
The Berkeley Wine
Company, and
The
Grand Summit Hotel
was attended by approximately 250 people.
Guests were presented with options to taste from a selection of over 300
wines, gourmet artisinal cheeses, and a hot buffet comprised of selections
from four area restaurants.
Brittany Fleming, a senior at Whippany Park
High School, thanked Cherished Creations and its supporters for the wish we
fulfilled, a laptop computer. Brittany, who has Lupus uses her laptop to
keep in touch with friends from her Lupus support group. She will put
to good use at NJIT next Fall.
Proceeds from admissions and the silent
auction have reached over $6500 thus far. All funds raised will be
applied directly to funding wishes on behalf of the children and young
adults we serve.
